Review of Social Networking Sites
This is a review of social networking sites. Social networking focuses on building online communities of people who share interests and/or activities, or who are interested in exploring the interests and activities of others. Most social network services provide a variety of ways for users to interact, such as email and instant messaging services.
Here is a brief review of social networking sites that I personally use for my own home business:
1. MySpace: This was the first social networking site that appeared on the Internet scene and now has a massive following. It is a network of friends, personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music, and videos for teenagers and adults. From blogs to bulletins to classified ads, there are many ways to stay connected. It is one massive party that happens there 24-7.
2. Facebook: This social network is the more ‘intellectual’ alternative to MySpace and it is one of the largest online communities. Popular with college students, Facebook offers a variety of requests, games, causes, gifts, and invitations to stay connected and in touch with others. It is a lot easier to use applications on Facebook and meet other like minded people.
3. BetterNetworker: This social networking community is specifically geared for home based business owners, especially network marketers. In fact, it is the Internet’s #1 social networking community for home business owners. The main goals here are for home based business owners to participate and add value to the entire community on their journey to becoming an alpha leader. Articles, videos, podcasts, community, forums, groups, and other resources are available as well as the opportunity to post ads.
It is my genuine desire that this review of social networking sites is helpful to those new to the social networking scene or online veterans alike.
